As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) at Omniful, you will be at the heart of designing, developing, and optimizing our high-performance backend systems. You will work with microservices, distributed systems, and real-time data processing to support Omniful’s Unified Supply Chain Platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop scalable API-driven solutions that enhance order orchestration, warehouse management, and transportation automation. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless integrations, data security, and high availability of our platform.

Candidates must have at least five years of experience in backend development, with proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java. A deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems is required. Applicants should have hands-on experience with database management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is necessary, along with knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

A strong candidate will have experience in SaaS product development, particularly in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce. Understanding of real-time data processing, caching strategies, and API rate limiting would be beneficial. Experience with AI-driven data analytics and predictive modeling for supply chain management will be an added advantage.

Applicants should have worked in a fast-paced agile environment, handling high-traffic applications with millions of transactions. They should be comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring systems. Previous exposure to handling performance optimizations for large-scale applications will be valuable.
